Peterborough's Dragon Boat Festival is a high-energy paddling competition that brings teams together to race in support of cancer care at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. This year, Pathway Church is not only putting together its own crew to “Get in the Boat” and paddle for hope, but we’re also hosting a Family Fun Zone tent packed with games, crafts, and activities for all ages—so you can support the cause whether you’re on the water or cheering from the shore.

We’re excited to take part in this year’s Festival by hosting a Pathway Church Fun Zone Tent—your stop for family-friendly games, crafts, and activities designed to bless our community and showcase Pathway Church’s presence. We need families and individuals to help with setup, supervision shifts, and teardown; pick any time slot that fits your schedule, and come be part of the fun!
Setup Team (7:30 AM–9:00 AM)
Unload and organize supplies, assemble tents and tables, and arrange activity stations so everything’s ready when the crowds arrive.
Activity Supervisors (choose one or more shifts: 9:00 AM–11:00 AM, 11:00 AM–1:00 PM, 1:00 PM–3:00 PM, 3:00 PM–4:00 PM)
Welcome families, guide kids through crafts and games, and keep the atmosphere upbeat and safe.
Teardown Team (4:00 PM–5:00 PM)
Pack up supplies, dismantle tents and tables, and leave Del Crary Park looking spotless.

Our teen crew is now at capacity as we paddle together to support breast cancer care at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Thank you to everyone who signed up! Not up for paddling? You can still make an impact by cheering on our team or volunteering in Pathway’s Fun Zone tent.
We’re doing this as part of our ForPTBO initiative—Pathway Church’s way of stretching our vision beyond Sunday mornings to actively serve and uplift Peterborough. We believe that loving our neighbours looks like rolling up our sleeves, partnering with local events, and using our gifts for the common good. Whether we’re paddling together for cancer care at the Dragon Boat Festival or hosting family activities in our Fun Zone Tent, ForPTBO invites every Pathway member to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community.
