Groups are one of the main ways we help people build genuine community, grow spiritually, and take their next step with Jesus. Some groups are open connection points, some are short-term courses, and others are longer-term Life Groups.
If you’ve been attending Pathway for at least 3 months and are ready to take a step toward community, requesting to join a group simply lets us know you are interested. Someone from Pathway will follow up to help confirm details, availability, and fit.
Look through the group cards and notice the rhythm, audience, location, and type of group that might be a good starting point.
Some groups are open connection points, some require registration, and Life Groups begin with a request to join.
We will help confirm availability, answer questions, and suggest another option if there is a better fit.
Open now
This is the best time to request to join a Life Group for the fall season. After September 21, Life Group requests will pause while we follow up with everyone who has expressed interest.
Open Groups can be joined any time and do not require registration. Short-Term Groups and Life Groups are available only during the On-Ramp window.
Open Groups
Open Groups are connection points where you can begin building community without the same level of seasonal commitment as a Life Group.
Short-Term Groups
Short-Term Groups require registration process or a more intentional commitment for a set season.
Life Groups
Life Groups meet regularly to study, pray, share life, and grow together. These groups usually involve a more intentional commitment, so requesting to join starts a follow-up conversation.
Interested in leading?
Don’t see a group suited to you? Lead what you love and invite others to come alongside you. Whether you are thinking about an activity-based group, a book study, or another kind of gathering, we would love to start a conversation.
We recommend having a co-leader to help share the responsibility of leading the group. If you do not currently have one, that can be part of the conversation.
Start a ConversationIf you are still getting to know Pathway, an open gathering, Alpha, Playgroup, Koinonia, or Sunday morning Prayer Group may be a good first step.
Life Groups usually ask for a longer commitment and are designed for people who are ready to build deeper community over a season.
We would be happy to help you figure out which group or next step makes the most sense.
