Pathway Kids Against Hunger Packing Event
Saturday, April 25
Pathway Church family, we’re excited to come together for a special hands-on serving opportunity in partnership with Kids Against Hunger Canada. Through this event, we’ll be helping support the mission of providing nutritious meals for people facing hunger locally, across Canada, and around the world. Kids Against Hunger Canada is based in Peterborough and uses volunteer meal-packing events like this to make a practical, meaningful difference.
We’re inviting our church family to come and take part in this special packing day, with the meals packed contributing toward the broader One Million Meals goal in Peterborough.
Packing Shift
10:30 AM–12:00 PM
We’re planning to run four packing lines, with space for 12 volunteers on each line.
If needed, we may open an additional shift later in the day.
We'll also need a few people to come early and stay late to help with setup and tear down.
This is a great opportunity for individuals, families, and friends to serve together.
We’re hosting this event as part of our ForPTBO initiative—Pathway Church’s way of stretching our vision beyond Sunday mornings to actively serve and uplift Peterborough. We believe that loving our neighbours looks like rolling up our sleeves, partnering with local events, and using our gifts for the common good. ForPTBO invites every Pathway member to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community.
