Youth Retreat 2026

Our annual Youth Retreat is coming up, and it’s one of the highlights of the year.

From May 1–3, our youth will be heading to Graphite Bible Camp for a weekend away packed with fun, friendships, great moments together, and space to grow in faith. This retreat is always a memorable weekend, and this year is shaping up to be no exception.

Retreat 2026: What You Need to Know

The dust is about to kick up and the herd is heading out — retreat weekend is almost here, and we’re excited for an incredible weekend away at Graphite Bible Camp.

Schedule

Departure: Friday, May 1

  • Drop-off begins at 5:00 PM at Pathway Church (3948 Wallace Point Rd.)
  • Students must check in before boarding the buses
  • Buses leave at 5:30 PM sharp
  • Please eat supper before arriving

Return: Sunday, May 3

  • We expect to return to Pathway around 4:00 PM
  • An email will be sent Sunday with an updated arrival time

Location & Lodging

We’ll be staying at Graphite Bible Camp
702 Graphite Rd, Maynooth, ON K0L 2S0

Students will stay in dorm-style housing, grouped by small groups with students of the same age and gender. Rooms vary in size, and students will also be placed on retreat teams for our weekend competitions.

What to Bring

Packing List

  • Sleeping bag or sheets/blanket + pillow (twin beds provided)
  • Clothes for the full weekend, including outdoor activities and cooler evenings
  • Shoes for sports and outdoor activities
  • Clothes okay to get dirty or wet
  • Western-themed outfit for Saturday’s Chuckwagon Dinner
  • Towel, toiletries, flip flops for showers
  • Bible, notebook, and pen
  • Reusable water bottle

Optional

  • Snacks for your room (no nuts please)
  • Money for the tuck shop (cash only)
  • Board/card games
  • Western accessories, such as bandanas or hats
  • Bathing suit (weather and safety permitting)

Bus space is limited, so please pack light.

Meals & Snacks

All meals, except Friday supper, are included in your registration. Dietary restrictions submitted during registration will be accommodated.

Students may bring snacks for their room or purchase snacks at the tuck shop.

Medications

If your student is bringing medication, a medical form must be completed ahead of time.

At drop-off, please stop at the medication table to check in with our nurse and hand in all medications. Students may not keep medications in their rooms, including over-the-counter medications like Tylenol or Advil.

Phone Policy

We’ll be going mostly off-grid for the weekend with a no phone policy, helping students be fully present and engaged.

Students may:

  • Leave phones at home, or
  • Place them in our locked phone storage on arrival

There will be a brief opportunity during Saturday free time for students to check in if needed.

What We’ll Be Doing

Retreat includes:

  • Main sessions with worship and teaching
  • Small groups and reflection time
  • Wild West team and individual competitions
  • Western-themed meal
  • Free time, games, and bonfires
  • Great food, great friends, and lots of fun

We’ll also have access to Graphite’s facilities, including:

  • Covered floor hockey and basketball space
  • Beach volleyball
  • Gym and lounge
  • Bonfire pit
  • Plenty of room to hang out and connect

Our hope is students come home encouraged, more connected, and pursuing a deeper relationship with God.
